NEVER ENOUGH THYME

Alpharetta Restaurant

After being in their original space for almost 17 years, the owners of Never Enough Thyme asked the design team to design a new location for them located in the newly constructed Alpharetta City Center.

The restaurant has a large catering business but also operates as a family friendly fast casual restaurant. The client needed a large working kitchen but also a fun dining environment for their patrons to enjoy. For the interior, the owners wanted a nod to the thyme reference in the restaurant’s name. In response, the designer used colors, fabrics and finishes inspired by the thyme herb.

Knowing that this design would be the basis for design for subsequent locations, the team selected a vibrant patterned cement tile, a custom thyme colored subway tile, and thyme leaf wall-covering to become the signature for the Never Enough Thyme restaurants.

Light fixtures from Cedar & Moss are throughout the space bringing a timeless yet casual modern feel to the space. An open dining room organized by fixed banquettes allow for clarity of movement throughout the space as well as plenty of room for families to spread out and enjoy their breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The team also designed a to-go window to accommodate access from Alpharetta City Center square where patrons gather to enjoy picnic lunches and to-go beverages.
