inspired by nature and building a collection for our clients

Our client purchased a new build home and hired us to add personality and warmth to the interior. We purchased both contemporary pieces along with antiques to help this newly married couple create a collection together. Inspired by nature, the palette is warm and inviting with bits of whimsy added throughout.

Although multiple rooms are connected, each area was distinctly defined by incorporating elements of nature as a unifying theme. Throughout the home we included floral patterns, natural fiber textiles like grass cloth, linen, wool, and a mix of warm woods.

A striking entry and dining room featuring bold elements that nod to the past while looking to the future. A contemporary console table and art piece are placed between an antique entry table and vintage dining table and chairs. The dining and entry lights are contemporary and add just the right amount of style tension to keep the rooms slightly unexpected.

Warm sunny tones in both color and wood tones are throughout the home.

Once one large room, we divided the kitchen and living room by adding a breakfast lounge that now feels comfortable enough to work, live, or dine in if you want to linger, or catch a quick snack at the island. Vintage and contemporary pieces again play together in this room that feels sophisticated and whimsical all at the same time.

Once a builder grade white box, the bedrooms were all given their own identity and color story including the adjacent bathrooms.

We are always listening and discussing projects with our clients to better understand their needs. In this home, we transformed two rooms into personal spaces, one a private office and one a listening lounge. The spaces are separated by the entry, but both needed to blend with the overall home palette. These rooms provide respite after a busy day as well as warm and cozy workplace.

A custom floating bed turns a once inefficient Primary Bedroom into an intimate setting with a new dialogue between the sleeping quarters and the fireplace lounge.
